Probably cleans the air well. Easy set up with the app and nice controls with xiaomi home and limited control with google home. I use a humidifier with distilled water in the same room which spikes the air air purity reading 400x so the nice auto setting screams when I have humidifier on. It is quite and can turn the light off which is crucial for me. The customised setting through the app is used to make the device work on the lowest setting when humidifier is on. I feel like there is less dust but need more time to ascertain. Is a big unit but so is any brand for this power. Probably cleans the air well. Very robust app for programming your air purifier. I have it programmed to only turn on at a certain air quality (and turn off once it's has cleaned the air), but also have it run on auto overnight. Once I figured out the app, the purifier runs automatically to my schedule 24/7. No need to manually touch it at all.

I've had this unit for a couple of months now. The unit works well, and definitely ramps up when pollutants enter the air (e.g., burning candles or incense), and clears these quickly. There are two downsides, it's big (I would say really big) and it makes the room cold when it's running for a while (more noticeable in smaller rooms). I've had this unit for a couple of months now. I’m really pleased with this purifier, the night mode is very quiet and I have stopped getting hayfever at night when it running on sleep mode. Every time the window was closed the bedroom smelt for like someone had spilt bad perfume on the floor but that has gone from the room too. The purifier is reasonable large but still light enough to move into different rooms if I want to. It was also easy to put the filter in before starting for first time, so I think changing the filter will be easy too. I chose this brand as I had seen it at the public hospital and hoped they hd done their research before buying. I was skeptical, but it actually made an immediate and noticeable improvement. Embarrassingly even some guests commented about the house smelling nicer.

I would skip getting the app working just use the controls on the device. The benefit of the app would be to show a 'history' over time of air quality but it only shows the current reading.

The quiet nighttime setting is genuinely quiet. The manual setting is actually full power and is really powerful. The power cord is easy to knock out. Owned this for more than a month now and loving it. Very quiet and does what it is supposed to do so. Only thing is that when you turn off the screen brightness, there is the remaining power indicator which is still bright at night. Overall, highly recommended!
