Shark IZ102 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Self Cleaning

Love love love my new Shark IZ102 Cordless Vacuum!! I have a fluffy white dog and dark carpet (not the best combination). I got so sick of dragging out my big vacuum so I decided to go stick.......but which one? There as so many on the market, with Dyson dominating. I was not in the position to be able to afford a Dyson, and to be honest the reviews on them are inconsistent. The reviews on the Shark were all great so I took the plunge. I love the self cleaning brush and the fact i can wash the filters. Another plus over the Dyson is that you don't have to hold your finger on the trigger while you vacuum. Love this vacuum. We have long pile carpet and our previous vacuum didn’t pick up and hair or fluff so our carpet constantly looked dirty despite frequent vacuuming.
This vac is amazing!! Our carpet has never looked so clean and it gives those beautiful freshly vacuumed carpet lines. So satisfying.

I Love the colour the fact that it has no bag, the fact that it is cordless and the battery can be removed to charge it instead of logging the whole vacuum across the house. It is perfect for our needs and the amount of hair we get in the carpet it hasn't got stuck once just goes through and is not stuck on any of the rollers. HIGHLY recommend. I got this vacuum as my Dyson wasn’t picking up my cats hair (I have a white cat and a black carpet). This has changed the game, it’s so much better, picks up all the cat hairs, and my long hair! It last for so long, I can do the entire house with no issues! So worth it and way better then the Dyson 7 In my opinion. It would be good if it had a wall mount but other then that it’s perfect! I was amazed at how good this vacuum is. It picked up more dirt and fluff off our rug than our vacuum itself. It's great on carpet and hard floors. I can vacuum the entire home and the battery still goes fully. Extremely happy. The carpets look so clean. I was amazed at how good this vacuum is. Really happy with the vacuum overall. Easy to use with basic features. Gets around 3 bedroom house with no problems.

- easily collects debris from both hardwood and carpet
- roller cleans itself
- large capacity
- hard floor and carpet settings work well for each surface

Cons
- a bit heavy but not unmanageable
- vacuum does not stand upright on its own, needs to be rested against a wall. No stand for charging
- no place to store extra attachments when not in use

The Shark performs brilliantly on hard floors (we have tiles) and very satisfactorily on carpet. It's quick and easy and emptying is a dream. The house has never been so clean so often! I have been using a cheap vacuum for a long time and it finally gave up. So I decided to finally buy this- I have been reading lots of reviews comparing this one and Dyson. I’m so glad when I bought it as the suction power is really good.
