Closed-back over-ear headphones that are an economical but quality choice for home studios or professional ones! Good quality sound. I gave my previous pair to a colleague in Asia, and they're good enough that I bought more of the same for my own use. I originally bought these as a temporary replacement for my regular pair of audio-technica headphones that I sent away to be repaired, intending to use the damaged ones once they were fixed. The old ones are broken beyond repair, so the ATH-M20X have stayed in as my normal usage and I don't regret the buy! They're on the cheaper side of audio-technica headphones but they're just as good as any of the others! These headphones sound great and have been conformable to wear for long hours.

The 3 meter cable was a little short for my use case (routed up a microphone boom arm to plug into the mic monitor output) so ended up adding an extension and it still works perfectly. These headphones sound great and have been conformable to wear for long hours.
