JBL Tune 310C USB-C Wired Hi-Res In-Ear Headphones - Black

Purchased these at the intro price after getting a new Samsung phone with no headphone jack. Packaging includes three sizes of ear tips and the smallest fits really well for me, provides decent noise isolation and they have not come close to falling out. The cable is wide and thin and does not seem to tangle. The inline buttons for volume and call answer are a little small but well spaced and work well enough.
USB C connection just worked immediately, no issues, and was narrow enough to easily fit in the cutout in my phones case. The USB and cable junction seems well designed and doesn't look fragile.

The sound is very good for the price! Traditionally JBL can be bass heavy (typical of US brands), but whilst these pack enough bass, it is controlled and not overdone and the response across mid's and highs seem pretty well balanced. Very pleasantly surprised.
Not to mention there are three EQ presets which gives you 'normal', 'bass' and 'vocal' options with a voice prompt to tell you which one you have selected.

I have only made one phone call so far, but works well and mic seemed clear - good enough for casual use.

I bought these as a cheap, wired backup to my excellent wireless Panasonic RZ-S500W ear buds, and I've been really impressed by the sound of these JBL's so far.

I bought a pair of these earphones and they're fine while they're working properly - which isn't long! The wires begin to break down within a few months and then you have one side works and the other doesn't. Eventually both sides stop working. I had the first pair replaced (had to jump through hoops and send back to PBTech which is almost more than the $ was worth, but it's principle as so much junk is sold these days that doesn't do what it is supposed to. Also had to pay another $8 shipping... ). You put one in the other will always fall out. They have a terrible time staying in my ears. A little nudge aka the cord lightly dragging across my coat when I turn my head will yank them painfully out of my ears because I have to shove them so far in so that they don't fall out.
It's starting to feel personal at this point.

Needed just a simple pair of headphones for USB-C connection. Think these were a lucky find. For the price they are excellent.
