Shokz OpenComm2 (2025 Upgrade) Wireless Open-Ear Bone Conduction Stereo Business Headset - Black

I use this for taking calls and meetings where I need to be in our datacenter with all the HAVAC running it's a high noise environment.
Even with all the noise I can hear people clearly and they don't hear much of the background noise either.
It needs to have skin contact so having it on top of your hair isn't going to work.

For anyone looking for a earbuds or headphones that can perform under outdoor windy conditions. You simply cannot beat the OpenComm2 2025. The old OpenComm2 was so close to perfect, with the exception it used its own charger connector. With the 2025 version, using USB-C connectors, there is no reason not to buy. Mic performance is SUPERB. From my own voice recording, ontop of a mountain with wind gusting in the back, the recording was approx 85-95% perfect. Of course not, but it is more than reasonable, its not tinny, just flatter than usual. Is there vibration? From my own experience, nothing under 50% volume, over 50% volume, a little, once you are over 70% volume, there is noticeable vibration. If Shokz could maybe use their latest DualPitch tech on the OpenComm series, it would be perfect. BT range, very reasonable, mine continued to work while I was approx 5m away with multiple concrete walls in between or approx 16m with minor barriers in between. For those outdoor enthusiast, if you want to never have to worry about earbuds falling out, or want callers to hear you nice and clear, no matter where you are, and also want be able to hear everything around you for safety reasons, this is it. You can buy XM4 and XM5, but none have an official IPX rating, and with any earbuds, there is always a concern one may fall out by accident, and with any headphones, big movements and constant movement will always shift the head bands to a uncomfortable position, tiring out the neck, otherwise it will be so tight around your ears that they become too hot. The OpenComm2 2025 is it, its light, its secure, the clamp pressure is very good, your ears cool and open. Highly highly recommended!

Better sound than the last model, and it was already good (I ruined my previous gen model).
Better now its USB-C charging not proprietary.

Very light weight, discrete and comfortable headset using bone conduction. The adjustable microphone picks up the voice well. My opinion is that the sound quality is good, but not directly comparable to a similar priced, larger over the ear headset. Battery life seems good. If you are all conference calls and are in an environment where can use bone conduction (not too much other noise around) and you want a wireless discrete headset for calls of a couple of hours or so, this is a very good solution. They were uncomfortable to wear as I have long hair and they kept catching hairs. Also when I was on the bus or at an airport, I couldn't hear at all.
