Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless Multi-System Gaming Headset for PC & XBOX XS

Ordered these headphones online and had to wait for them to be delivered to my local PB Tech store but has been an excellent purchase.
The headphones are a nice quality with excellent sound and even come with a Bluetooth function so you can separately connect them to your phone. You can actually listen to both your PC and phone at the same time if you so wish.
The wireless range is reasonable, (though not the best I have seen though still good). The mic is good and easy to use. The headphones are comfortable to wear even for my bigger then normal head.

Our group bought a whole bunch of these for AWS calling.
The Sonar is really great for individual fine tuning and moving different applications into specific channels.
However, sadly this headset is often prone to connection failures.

Cons / issues I've come across:

- Sometimes it'll show up in the App but won't actually be there. Instead, when you test sound it actually still goes through computer speakers regardless.
- On seldom occasion I have found Sonar may stop responding and I have had to disable the feature once or twice.
- SteelSeries App can have some odd interactions with Windows where, when it updates, it can cause errors with Windows Audio Service and this breaks all audio within the Windows environment.

Pros:
- When this headset is working as intended, it's great.
- The Wi-Fi range is awesome.
- The ability to have your phone and computer connected to the headset concurrently is great for multi-tasking.
- Configuring each Sonar audio channel at quite a detailed level is handy for having spotify going in the background whilst taking AWS phone calls.
- Additionally, with Sonar, being able to rebalance the audio channel for incoming audio is great for when there are quiet talkers and loud talkers.

These are great headphones, i replaced my A40 Wired headphones, my xbox is at my PC setup, so the quick switching on the base station is awesome, had a bit of fun getting the mic good, probably the only let down for this headset, friends on discord have said it doesn't sound great, and apparently its quite loud on the xbox, but otherwise a great headset, a bit of tuning and the sound is mint, with Dolby Atmos they sound amazing for movies as well. The hot swap batteries are a great feature as well and easy to click into the base and headset once you work out the orientation after a couple of swaps. having the ability to connect pc or xbox while connected to your phone is awesome and way more useful than i would have thought and you can watch reels while waiting for the game to load! and the noise cancelling features work well with pass though etc.
All in all a great headset im very happy with. Quality is what you would expect for the price. Good bass as well.

The base station is a good gimmick, but it has no screen off so expect those OLEDs to burn in quickly -- even on the lowest brightness.

The noise cancellation is minor at best, and has a very noticable hiss. Don't buy for the ANC alone. If ANC is all you care about, get the Sony XM 4s for half the price instead. Sure, you won't get the gaming features Steelseries adds on top but I can tell you your headphones aren't why you're bad at whatever game you're playing.

So far I've really enjoyed the Nova Pro and believe it to be a solid upgrade on my Arctis 7 wireless headset. I appreciate that you never have to cable the actual headset (you can if you like but you don’t need to) meaning it's truly wireless 24/7. The battery life is also really good, I get about 2-3 days with constant gaming/discord/listening to music before I need to switch batteries (I usually switch before it prompts me to, so might get even longer).

The headset sits very comfortable, it uses just the right amount of pressure to sit snug without hurting you, even after hours and hours of use.
