By Pass Power worked fine, kept my Laptop fully charged while working online and with spreadsheet applications, however HDMI monitor connection would not black out the screen periodically for a second or two. Might be fine with VGA monitor connection?

Cheapest and easiest way to get my work laptop to interface with my two HDMI screens. I received previous advice on needing a docking station, costing several $100s of dollars, but buying this did the trick at a fraction of the cost. Did not work for multiple displays, even when powered. tried on Win10 with 2 LG Ultra displays, no joy. Did not recognise them. Would also not work with MacBook Air. Works great with macs, surface tablets, other laptops. Having a space for thumb drive is good, and two HDMI outputs are great, one for a monitor, and the other for the projector. It was quite simple to get it working, didn’t need to install anything, just plug and play. Connects very well to my two monitors via hdmi and vga from my surface laptop.
