My headphones don't connect to the female plug properly. It works properly when I connect to other audio extension cables into the female plug which is weird, but not what I bought this for. Do not work properly with Gorilla Gaming Universal Headset. When headset plugged directly into Samsung and LOC monitors, they work as expected. When the Dynamix cable is used as well, the volume in the headphones drops from normal speech level to a quiet whisper level. I can't imagine why. Purchased it (twice on accident) and it was very low quality audio when connecting the headphones to the extender then the extender to the computer. Audio quality was poor. As the other reviews have said, the quality of audio through this extension was so poor that it was unusable, perhaps this isn’t designed for audio, I don’t know? But yeah, I assumed it would be all good, but it wasn’t haha. I've found this cable doesn't work with my Logitech headphones which uses a three ring 3.5mm jack due to microphone.
However, the cable does work with a plain stereo jack on another set of headphones I have.
If I don't push the logitech 3.5mm jack completely in, the sound does work, but in that state if you breath on it it will move and sound will drop out again. I've found this cable doesn't work with my Logitech headphones which uses a three ring 3.5mm jack due to microphone.
