Customers just can't buy 1 splitter - they need to be sold in pairs for them to work correctly.1 splitter at the wall end and 1 splitter at the patch panel.
These splitters are designed to split one Cat5/Cat6 cable into two connections by using one splitter at each end of the cable. Unfortunately, many customers try to use just a single splitter and expect it to split the cable into two, which isn't how the product is intended to function.
