Its mechanical and is pretty good to touch type on. Its on the quieter end of mechanical keys but the space bar makes a real clack as you hit it which doesn't match the rest.
The colours are barely customisable at all - A couple of simple wipes and fades but the colours aren't changable and are set for each key. They also glow from the bottom of the keys but don't really light up the actual letters much.

I got a better mechanical keyboard for the same price which has more ability to customise colours and highlight keys for games etc. Its more clicky and the lights are better. I got it on special and I'm happy enough - I wouldn't pay full price for this keyboard.

Keyboard is great, worked over 3 years now, however, when originally buying I thought that the RGB was moving like a smooth wave, but the photo shown on the image is just static. The colors do not move, unless you change the setting of the keyboard, where it only displays one color at a time and slowly changes, works great however. I need to spend a lot of time using a keyboard. I have found this keyboard to be the perfect balance between usability and price. A big step up from the usual generic item. I bought this keyboard a few years ago and by now I've replaced it with a Razer blackwidow v3 mini.
For the price it's adequate, but I wouldn't call it "good." It's loud, and the so-called mechanical switches are actually just clicky things pressing on membrane. Probably the best thing about it is the durability; Mine still works to this day, despite having been taken apart, had water spilled on it (Water resistant is always nice, especially for younger kids,) and all the screws have been fully stripped out or broken. It's a hardy little keyboard, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If you want a budget keyboard for gaming you can usually just get a standard office keyboard for less and it'll work the same, if not better than this will. And remember, even though it looks cool, you don't need RGB.

Never thought I would say that a low cost keyboard would be this good, but here I am. Love it and the keys are not obnoxiously loud which is a huge bonus. Great to type on as well. First time ever having a proper keyboard it's great build and then on top of that it has RGB, but the thing that's sucks about the RGB is that it has only 3 different cycles of colour modes which kinda sucks but its allright.
