Huion KAMVAS PRO 12 Mobile Pen Display 11.6" Professional Monitor Tablet with stand

Luckily we have 3 computers in the house, the 3rd one to try is the one that the display output will work with, but unfortunately that's not the computer we want to use it with.
I checked the operating system etc prior to purchase but it was only after buying it and trying to get it to work that we found the graphics output is crucial as well. I've been doing traditional pen and paper artwork from a very young age and tried getting into the digital art scheme with drawing tablets - however, I could only get the ones with no display. I resorted to using my mouse to do drawings digitally which took twice the amount of time it takes with this tablet.

It feels like using a pen and paper - you can look at the screen, you can rely on the handy "Ctrl + Z" option instead of butchering your work with an eraser like traditional. It has all the perks of the traditional pen and paper with the perks of digital art. It is an amazing purchase and I'm still using it.

I am normally very careful when purchasing tech online but as I have never had any issues with PB Tech in the past I didn't do my homework as well as I should have. Unfortunately this is not the current model of the product, my prior experience with PB Tech is when a product is not a current model, they normally specify it, so when I was looking up specs on the Huion website, the information didn't reflect the product I was actually purchasing. The specific issue I have is the 3-way cable requires an HDMI connection for the monitor to work and none of our devices have an HDMI port to connect to. The drawing/writing function works with only the USB (on all of our devices including a Chromebook) but it defeats the point of purchasing a monitor tablet, the current model on the Huion website has a single USB cable with no requirement for HDMI and full Chromebook support. After research, it appears that an HDMI to USB adapter is going to work so I have just purchased this at an additional cost of $53 plus delivery, I haven't received it so I have my fingers crossed! As you can imagine I'm really gutted but I do wear responsibility as for the first (and last time) I didn't do my homework as well as I should have.

Pretty good for drawing but will not work for left handed people sadly, which renders the buttons and zoom bar useless as you have to disable them all. So this was an upgrade from my old Wacom bamboo, and it's a way more intuitive way to draw. Took a bit of time to set up due to it not playing well with my ancient version of Photoshop (from back when you could still buy Adobe programs on CDs), but after testing it out with trial versions of SAI and Clip Paint it worked like a dream. I purchased this device for photo editing with lightroom. Firstly, connecting it to the M1 devices is a hassle. I had to buy a dongle. Secondly, even after trying multiple drivers and cables, the connection drops intermittently. The pencil does not work well with the M1 Macs. I am returning mine. I decided to make a start getting into digital art and after looking at various options I settled on this tablet given the very reasonable price. It works great and is a convenient size for moving it around as I generally use it with a laptop. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking at a beginner display drawing tablet. I got this product a month ago and it worked as advertised. Couldn't configure lightroom to be in a smaller version for the screen but photoshop worked great. You have to calibrate the pen everytime you turn in on. It's a little bit off the pen but just for a bit. It's a great budget drawing tablet with a screen. Huion is a great cheaper alternative for a good quality pen display tablet. Wonderful for beginners, or if you are looking to upgrade from a tablet without a monitor. I am very happy with the product considering the price- it may not be professional quality but is a wonderful. start for amatur artists and beginners alike!
