LUMI STB-072 Deluxe Desktop Monitor/Laptop Adjustable Raiser - Raise monitor to a comfortable height

We have been using these for about a fortnite. We found that the standard desk monitor mounts meant that the screens were too far away for easy work especially on large spreadsheets. With these you are able to place in the ideal posistion on the desk and not lose the space underneath as we would have with a standard riser.

Even accomodates a 27" monitor, though the base projects slightly off of the stand.

As a very tall person, and having purchased a new HP laptop, I needed to raise the height of the screen face instead of using books.

This Brateck model is excellent, as my laptop folds in half, with the key board sitting on top and the screen folded up to the exact position you require, obviously using instead a wireless stand alone keyboard.

I suspect the other reviewers may not have needed any height adjust, just a boost to let their height adjustable monitor to take up the slack because thats the only reason I'm not refunding it because while it's rated for 15kg - it couldn't support my 7.1kg monitor reliably no matter how tightly the bolt against the shiny notchless chrome cylinder with just the right wiggling and grunting, I gave it EVERYTHING.

It MAY have some nylon or other trickery inside installed wrong but I can't see how it'd fit, and it feels like you're screwing against the shiny chome plated piston. Not scientific I know, I'm just still mad.

Also, the screws came up in other reviews and I can see why - the three base screw holes are symmetrical so be sure that you assemble it with the disappointing bolt pointing to the rear - not a criticism, it'd greatly simplify manufacture to make it good value. If it worked.

I am very thrilled at this purchase - especially as it is the absolute perfect height - so I can have the convenience of a good sized extra monitor in my work space - via my laptop and see the entire screen (especially the taskbar).
I highly recommend this product for anyone - especially who is trying to learn a skill like me, via computer tutorials - and needs to have a second monitor.
The only 'con' I can think of, is that I didn't find this sooner and have spent a ridiculous amount of money trying to get the setup this riser has now enabled me to have! Much better quality than I expected. Even with the monitor on the stand I can hold the top shelf, undo the screw, and lift shelf/monitor to a new height. Super sturdy and super steady. Excellent! I finally found adjustable monitor stands that are just the right size for multiple screens. Love the metal and rubber look. Super functional. I've had these for a month now and my neck and shoulders are much better as the screens are now at the right height for me.
