Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G Dual SIM Smartphone - 8GB+256GB - Phantom Black

I found this phone to be an absolute necessity for my needs. The charge on this phone is outstanding since upgrading from my Samsung S21. I specifically use this phone for all my YouTube videos. as well as the occasional photo shoot. The battery is great. I keep checking while shooting my vids to make sure I'm not running out of power, or the phone is hot. after 2 hours of shooting, it is warm to the touch and the battery is still going strong at 46%. Every internet page is also fast to access as well. YouTube, Instagram look so much cleaner as well as the sounds that come from them. I feel like I'm watching a normal tv. Overall, I give a 5 star for this phone. The pen for this phone is superb which was one of the features I loved when I looked at this phone. Since I use Kinemaster to edit my video's, using this pen has been a dream and fast for me to access all features in the Kinemaster app as well as the phone itself. Oh and the Scooter was a lovely touch, thank you PBTECH! All my electronics have come from PBTECH over the last 3 years and I only have respect for their workers who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. From the smallest camera to the largest TV. Nothing is impossible with such a great company. Cheers PBTECH!

Each camera has different advantages - the 200MP takes excellent detailed pictures, but no zoom (but you don't need it - just crop if you need to). The 50MP provides great all-round options plus optical zoom capability. The 12MP camera still takes incredibly detailed pictures plus tons of optical zoom options. So all 3 cameras are equally good in their own way - just choose according to the situation.

The video camera is the first time I have seen absolutely no stabilization issues on a recording - no blur, no stutter.. just perfectly crisp every time and it will even track the subject as you follow it. My preference is the 4K 60fps mode as my monitor here is a 4K screen, but it also has an 8K 30fps mode which is breathtaking for a phone to do this. I have no means of playing back the 8K recordings on a big screen but they look crisp on the phone with no blur or stutter just like the 4K and even the 1080p modes.

The only drawback of this phone is supposedly a lack of a headphone jack, but I have bought a small $1.95 USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor from Temu which solves this issue!

Very happy with the purchase. The S24 is just coming out, and the only difference is the addition of some AI apps for cutting/removing things from photos, and some additional zoom modes on the 50MP camera. The camera itself is still the same as the S23, with the 200MP mode. So you're not really missing out too much by choosing the S23 over the latest model, unless the built-in AI is important to you.

I wasnt having any issues with the s20 ultra, but had the opportunity to upgrade so took the opportunity. The pen is nice, and worth looking up all the stuff you can do on the phone as i had no idea how far they've come. Note : doesnt have a free clearcase like previous models have had hiding in the box. also doesnt take an sd card, so if that matters to you then be warned. Got it on special a couple of weeks ago, at a great price for the green colour. I'd been holding off upgrading my ageing LG V50, since I used to use FM radio and 3.5mm phones. But I can say the larger, brighter screen, snappy processor and - best of all - 2 day+ battery life are well worth the upgrade.

And the camera on this phone beats the previous flagship too. And with a USB to 3.5mm dongle, I can still use my good quality IEMs too.

Quite happy so far with my phone as have used it for a good number of months. Reporting my feedback and it is a positive one. Pricing point is ridiculous but that is Not PB Tech’s fault at all. Was able to get some gifts I chose to have at that time but I feel sad that Samsung does not provide a case and a screen protector. I like higher RAM s and higher Storage so the Specs are great for me. Charging Speed, Screen Size, Memory as stated before, Overall Built and Camera etc etc are all good for me. Square shape makes it prone to damages.
Metal ring around camera is not up to the standard. Scrached it by mistake on the floor and a small portion came off.

Overall expensive phone when compared to peers. High end specs.

Still a great phone for 2024. Still a great camera with good zoom. It does show its limitations in partial light situations.
