An expressive and insightful addition
Unlock new possibilities with the VIVE Full Face Tracker. It's the ideal VIVE XR Elite accessory for a more immersive and natural virtual experience.
VIVE Full Face Tracker
VIVE Full Facial Tracker brings eye tracking and facial tracking to VIVE XR Elite. It features auto-IPD which automatically adjusts the lens distance for each user. [1] Easy to install, with an easy-to-clean gasket.* And it doesn't require any cables.
*Includes compatible VR gasket.
Discover the benefits of full-face tracking [2]
Express yourself naturally [3]
Enhance communication with eye and mouth movement for more natural interactions.
Improve user experiences [4]
Measure the duration a user focuses on an object with heat mapping and gaze tracking for improved user experiences with interactive content presentation.
Make handheld controllers optional
Implement natural, intuitive gaze-based menu navigation. Eyes can be used to point, select, and zoom without controllers. Create content accessible for individuals with limited mobility.
Virtual collaboration
Natural, expressive interactions in VR
Bring realistic eye and mouth movement to virtual avatars. Show expressive, non-verbal interactions within virtual conferences, chat groups, and VIVERSE for Business meetings to boost engagement with your peers.
Full-face motion capture
Animate movement easily and quickly
Capture facial performances and create animations for game production, AR and VR experiences, and more.
Soft skills training
Achieve better outcomes
Full-face tracking can help improve soft skills in presentation coaching, customer service management, workplace etiquette training, and more. Enable users to track and improve their interactions with teammates and customers.
Foveated rendering
GPU optimization
Harness the eye tracking feature for dynamic foveated rendering. Optimize rendering performance to what's in line of the user's sight rather than their peripheral vision. It also enhances VIVE Business Streaming with foveated compression.
Product features
Automatic IPD adjustment
The tracker automatically detects the user IPD and makes necessary adjustments for visual clarity. [1] An internal motor adjusts the IPD of VIVE XR Elite with no impact on the headset's existing IPD range. Easily share headsets with multiple users without manually setting IPD each time.
Easy to install
This lightweight add-on easily attaches magnetically to the headset. It connects directly to VIVE XR Elite through USB-C, with no cable required.
Dual-tracking eye cameras
The dual eye camera setup with supporting IR illuminators is capable of capturing gaze origin and direction-as well as pupil size, pupil position, and eye openness.
Mono-tracking face camera
Capture expressions through 38 blend shapes across the lips, jaw, cheeks, chin, teeth, and tongue. A smooth 60Hz tracking rate of facial expressions delivers lifelike interactions. An optimized runtime allows you to explore the full potential of face tracking.
Foldable design
The lightweight face camera folds up to save space for storage or travel.
Content compatibility
AIO tracking content
Supports VIVE Focus 3 standalone (AIO) eye and facial tracking content.
PC-VR content
Supports existing PC-VR content-both OpenXR and SRanipal-through VIVE Business Streaming.
SDK support
Supports Unity, Unreal Game Engine, and Native.
Developer resources
VIVE Wave
VIVE Wave enables easy XR content development and high-performance device optimization for third-party applications.
OpenXR

MetaHuman support
VIVE Full Face Tracker is capable of connecting to high-fidelity Unreal Engine's MetaHuman digital characters. Unreal Engine is required for character rigging.
