This is as solid a stand as they come with such a balanced weight to the unit that seemingly no matter what angle I had it set up, This stand is slightly higher than several others, and puts my laptop screen at the perfect height so it's level with my eyeliner. highly recommend！

This stand is not tipsy at all. It sits level on my desk and holds my MacBook. There is no way mine is going to come apart accidentally. When I put it together the legs got tight before they were fully seated. I believe that is the way it is supposed to be. I got a flat piece of wood and put the wood on the floor. I then put stand with its back down on wood. Got my rubber/plastic-headed hammer and used the rubber head side to hammer the front connecting piece into place so it was even and fully seated. Did not have to hammer very hard at all. I repeat this stand is not coming apart by accident. If I wanted to take it apart I could but would...view more This stand is not tipsy at all. No tools are required. It's literally like playing with Legos. Plug and play and it is very sturdy. I have a pretty heavy laptop on top and it didn't even change its form.
