It's a laptop charger, what can I say? Does the job well, although in true PB fashion it doesn't come with the jub cord cable you need. Very dumb move by PB, they should just include one! Official power adapter for the MS Surface Dock, it does what you'd expect. Just be aware this does not come with the 2-pin plug cable on the end, however if you have a Surface Pro/Book charger you can borrow it from that.

Straight forward product. Works perfectly with my Microsoft docking station and seems to charge Surface effectively in the month + I've had it. It is perfect when it is what you need. I don't recommend to buy it, however, if you don't have a Microsoft Surface Dock, because that is pretty much the only thing it powers up. It's also not so good if you want to charge your electric bicycle or go for a swim at the beach, because that is not what it is made for, because it is a power brick. The good thing is too, that it does nowhere suggests to use it for anything else, so you should not get confused. It is perfect when it is what you need.
