The Edimax EW-7612PIn V2 allows for increased wireless coverage and higher data transmission rates. The latest wireless technology is built into this device to broaden its wireless coverage by 5 times and to reduce dead spots within the wireless range. The EW-7612PIn V2 complies with wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and can reach data transmission rates of up to 300Mbps when connected to wireless 802.11n devices. It also extends its wireless signal distance, and provides more reliable wireless connections than standard IEEE 802.11b/g wireless networks.

The EW-7612PIn V2's exceptional chipset offers increased bandwidth and more functionality than other PCI network adapters. This adapter is specifically designed to utilize the full bandwidth capacity of the PCI Express bus, thus eliminating collisions and latencies that exist with current 32-bit and 64-bit PCI bus architectures.


Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) Button

The Edimax EW-7612PIn V2 features a convenient WPS button. Users can set up an encrypted wireless connection simply by pressing the WPS button on this adapter and a WPS-enabled wireless access point. This one-click WPS button helps users set up a secure wireless network in less than a minute.


High-Gain 3dBi Detachable Antennas for Improved Wireless Performance

Internal wireless on the cheap

Internal wireless on the cheap, does exactly what I require, connects to my wireless router reliably, just note that it could do with being a bit faster but at the price I'm nit picking.

Couldn't pick up many networks

It picked up one neighbour and our printer, but not our main Wifi; not the PC at fault as it could pick up all networks when using a USB wireless adaptor. Returned this for a full refund.

Good Speed

I brought this to go in an older computer, I didn't want to rely on the speed of the USB and the old motherboard. It did the trick, the computer may have been slow, but anything that ran through the browser, like a game, or just surfing the Net, I had good speed. I have now transferred it to my new computer and it's great.

Returns & Warranty

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed and unopened, with packaging in original condition, accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange. A 20% restocking fee may be applied where goods are not returned in sealed, original packaging condition.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase. Items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.

 

Hassle free warranty service

If your product develops a fault within the manufacturer warranty period, you can either contact the manufacturer directly (some manufacturers provide a high level of warranty service - including free pickup or in some cases onsite repair), or return to one of our services centres / stores. Where the product has been directly imported by PB Tech, you need to contact us directly or present the product at any one of our service centres / stores together with your proof of purchase.
