I know many people who have purchased this, and it was plug and play for them. No issues.

But I was one of the others (globally) who simply could not get Internet via LAN. The wifi was ok, just not hardwired.

So just be careful in what your end goal is. If wifi mesh extension connected to your old router, likely all good. Router replacement? Not as easy.

Strongest WIFI I have ever had. I have tried many other routers and wifi extenders and mesh networks. This one is the best by far.
There is one light at the bottom of the unit, when everything is working it goes out, so no annoying always on light, no flashing lights. When our fibre went down the other day it turned on purple. The wifi coverage and speed is great for this product. But the hardwired ports do not work.

When I purchased the first one, the hardwired ports worked fine for a week and then they stopped working. I got great product support from Netgear, but unfortunately they were not able to resolve the issue.
PBtech have also been great. They sent me a replacement when I raised this with them. But unfortunately, I have had the same issue from the start with the replacement.

Setting up following the instructions wasn't as straight forward as hoped. QR code wasn't recongised by the Orbi app and the network default key didn't work at first either. A bit of a hassle. Great product to create a wireless mesh within the home. I just needed to extend the range of the current modem/router and these accomplished this much better than anticipated. The added bonus was the satellite node also has ethernet ports to directly plug in devices in the secondary location as well as strong and seemingly latency free wifi. Very steady wifi connection for every room in the house. 2 pack is sufficient for 200 square meters. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a mesh system. Setup a little more tricky than first advertised... had to change some router settings in the admin console to get it to work with the ISP. Also needed firmware updates that didn't happen automatically.
