After my motherboards onboard Ethernet adaptor died I picked this up thinking it would be a quick fix while I find something more permanent. After using this I realised this is really all you need! I can completely saturate my gigabit fibre connection and haven't had a single issue. Couldn't recommend this product more for the price. This batch that I received also came with a low-profile bracket that is often required for HP and other SFF small-form-factor desktops, so I didn't need to order a low-profile bracket separately, which provides even greater value for this non-expensive network card.
