Razer Gigantus v2 Soft Gaming Mouse Pad - 3XL

I’m using this as a desk mat / mouse pad for a “working from home” set up and not a gaming setup. I really like the product - the size is perfect … comfortably holds my full size keyboard and plenty of room for the mouse. It is comfortable to rest wrists or elbows (nice balance of soft, but not too soft). It also softens the sounds of mouse sliding on the desk, or keys tapping on the keyboard. There is a slight smell which still lingers a few weeks later, but not too bad. I do wish it had a stitched edge as would give me more confidence re durability. It's done alright but its only been a year and a half and the black layer is starting to peel from the bottom anti-slip green layer. Doesn't slip and is alright in function but wont last very long, would wear out a lot faster than a year and a half if I played games as much as some people I know. But with Razer essentially being the Apple of PC peripherals and components, it has done considerably well and exceeded my expectations. Still not a great product. Very good and spacious. Perfect for gaming. The reason I dont give 5* is because of the smell... has a very weird smell that I dont like it.

It’s thicker than other branding’s counter part, and this is why I love it.

A thicker pad can provide better mouse handling if the table surface is not completely flat.
