They're using bots to make reviews.
I wish I searched it up before buying. It doesn't work at all and this is most people's experience with it.

EDIT: Everyone on their reddit has different "workarounds" to make it work. None of their workarounds worked for me, but somehow after five hours of frustration, found my workaround.

I don't have an agenda, look at their website and reviews (and their subreddit)- their top 15 or so most upvoted reviews are all people clamouring that their products are not functioning out of the box.

The most important thing is it doesn't need Internet connection to operate, as the feeding schedule is stored in the device and not in the app/cloud. The food storage capacity is good - it lasts more than 2 weeks with a feeding schedule of about a cup per day. The app doesn't have the best design but it's easy to use it once you get used to it. It can be connected to Home Assistant, which is a bonus. It requires an USB charger to power it, which is not included. However, it doesn't use an standard USB cable - it has a USB-A on one side and a round plug on the other side to connect to the device. They could've use a USB-C connector so a standard cable can be used.

I got the Dark Grey instead of the white one as it is see-through and can easily spot if the food levels are low without opening the lid, so the food stays fresh for longer. This is great. It was time for an upgrade of our feeder and this one worked really well while we were away for 7 days. We still had someone checking in on our 2 cats but the feeder did everything it said and the app works well. Very pleased with our purchase. Be sure to update the firmware before setting up automated feeding times. Works great, took the cat 3 days to get used to it and now it knows where his food is.

It took us a minute to get the serving sizes correct, but there are plenty of options, the product works well.
That said, buying a product isn't an invitation to SPAM our email account.
The app sends alerts when the feeder is full (blocked), and when a feed is successful... so that is all good.
You'll need power, so plan for that (otherwise you'll chew thru batteries), USB cable supplied, but no adapter. It took us a minute to get the serving sizes correct, but there are plenty of options, the product works well.

We bought the dark gray pet feeder for our adult cat. Way to assemble and connect to wifi. App is very simple and informative. I have a very demanding, very vocal Siamese/Rex cross cat. With free feeding she became obese, with timed feedings she would vomit as she ate too much too fast. She needed measured feedings throughout the day. SOLO solved it. She gets seven small feedings a day. She is at a perfect weight, she doesn’t pester me constantly for food, and it’s so easy!
