Corsair RM750e Black 750W Cybenetics Gold ATX 3.1 Power Supply

Ever since I purchased this PSU it has been making a very noticeable and insistent clicking noise during particularly high performance moments in games. This is apparently a common issue for the Corsair RM e models. Corsair have even done a write up explaining this, though they seem to have focused it on the RM1000e and say the RM750e is unlikely to experience this issue. I can tell you that I am and it is a serious bother. A youtube video its features will get you into the shop to get one, comes with heaps of spare cables for older gear adaptability and the new fandanglely stuff that i dont understand just buy cuz the security guard at pb tech said 'yeah its mad good, i got one', hes not wrong.

For the price I get a decent power output, so I won't have to worry for minor upgrades to my PC in the future, all the while it maintains the existing parts perfectly.
Wasn't sure about the physical fit, as the dimensions made it seem quite a bit smaller than the last, but it was all fine in the end.

I've brought two of these and as far as I can tell this is comparable with my RM1000x BUT it comes with less cables.
If you need more than 2x8 pin PCI-e(graphics card) then you should consider a different PSU. I used some spare type 4 cables I had with my RM1000x.
I also like that corsairs cables aren't wrapped, makes it easy to fit between the back panel and the motherboard support. I've brought two of these and as far as I can tell this is comparable with my RM1000x BUT it comes with less cables.

There is a list of cables that I did not pay attention to in the description. My GPU requires 2x8-pin power, but this PSU only comes with a 12V 2x6-to-2x8-pin adapter cable and one 8-pin cable. As a result, I had to use the infamous melty 12V 2x6 socket. The PSU includes 3x8-pin connectors (CPU, PCIe, PCIe), but the necessary cables are not provided, and it is difficult to source additional ones. Priced like a premium product but packaging, finish and features suggest otherwise. Cables dont have a premium look or feel, no silent mode switch like other psu's and packaging is very basic.

Got this for a new build and have been really impressed - the cables it comes with are really nice and clearly labelled, it comes with a matching white power cord, and it's small enough to fit in my case which only has a small PSU compartment. Does what it's supposed to with no issues.
