This doesn't work at all with my RPi 5 power supply. I opened it and had a look, there is only one red wire (switched) and one black wire (always connected). The switch does work with other USB-C equipment.

Easy install and just works as expected. A flip switch or an indicator light would help knowing if the Pi is switched on or not but you can use the LED light on the Pi for that. This is a great power switch for the Raspberry Pi 4.

It allows you to turn the Pi on after you've securely plugged in the power supply or turn the Pi on and off, again and again, without the need to disconnect the USB-C power supply connector from the board.

This saves a lot of connect/disconnect cycles on that little Type-C connector on the board if you're experimenting a lot and need to turn the thing on and off plenty of times. This is a great power switch for the Raspberry Pi 4.

If you're buying a Pi kit and it doesn't have one of these, definitely get PB Tech to throw one in the bag for you. Depending on the configuration, you can't wake up a shutdown Pi without power cycling. That's when the switch is so convenient. It's well worth the money.
