Edifier M60 66W Compact Desktop PC Speaker System with Bluetooth 5.3 - Classic Oak

For the price that I copped these up during the Black Friday sales, I'd definitely consider the M60's to be a great purchase for anyone looking to get a pair of great-sounding desktop speakers.
I found the setup process to be quite straightforward with the initial boot-up instantly going into Bluetooth pairing mode letting you easily and quickly start listening to music. I'd recommend that you download the Edifier Connex app, as you'll more than likely have a pending firmware update as soon as you've taken it out of the box.

I found the setup process to be quite straightforward with the initial boot-up instantly going into Bluetooth pairing mode letting you easily and quickly start listening to music. I'd recommend that you download the Edifier Connex app, as you'll more than likely have a pending firmware update as soon as you've taken it out of the box.
Another thing of note is that the included speaker cable, connecting the primary powered speaker (the right one) with the secondary passive speaker (the left one), does limit the distance allowed for separation of the two speakers as I found them to be quite short, only allowing me to a few inches in slack while still letting set them on either side of a 24-inch monitor with a desk stand underneath it.
Most of my audio listening on these speakers has been consuming YouTube and streaming audio through YouTube Music (primarily listening to pop, hip-hop, drill, and house music). When it comes to audio quality, I'd definitely give these a solid thumbs-up. As a whole, if you are someone who's looking to watch streamed content or casually listen to music, I'd say that these speakers do not disappoint. They definitely aren't a pair of studio monitors, but their sound profile sounds plenty fun with an overall solid punchy feel to them.
They also do get plenty loud, where I don't bother increasing the sound output over 20-30% unless I plan on streaming music throughout my house. I didn't notice any sound distortion at all in its sound output. That being said, its 66w can easily fill a room, so even if there was the slightest bit of distortion, you'll likely not hear it as well over the loud output as a whole.
The EQ on the M60's can be customized through the Edifier Connex app, though I don't imagine you'll be using it too often unless you are exclusively using them over Bluetooth, as the equalizer settings cannot be changed whilst playing audio through your computer as it requires your active audio source to be switched over to Bluetooth for any such actions to be taken. An important detail here is that these speakers do NOT have an output to add on a subwoofer at any point in the future, so any "bass-heads" should probably keep that in mind, though as someone who listens to hip-hop music, I haven't found it to be a problem.
Although I've only primarily used these speakers through the wired USB-C connection, I've dabbled with their audio playback over Bluetooth and I've found them to be just as good whilst playing music wirelessly. I haven't gone to actively test the Bluetooth range of the speakers, though I haven't found them to perform any worse than my pair of Bose QC45's.
All that being said, for anyone looking to up their audio game from their built-in laptop speakers or just looking for something compact so that you can listen to music over the weekends, you'll likely not go wrong with these speakers.

I have a pair of Edifier MR3 speakers on my home office PC, and wanted some smaller speakers to install on my gaming PC (in a tighter space). The M60 speakers are about half the size of the MR3 -- they're very cute. But despite all the sensational *paid* reviews on YouTube, they don't sound as good as they say (surprise surprise). There is a boxiness to the sound presentation, somewhat muffled and boomy. They DO sound good, especially if you move back a bit from them, but just not anywhere as clear as the MR3 (which happen to be considerably cheaper too). A lot of this might be because I have them installed in a tight space, so YMMV.

Connectivity on the M60 is USB and Bluetooth, and that's it basically. This makes them very easy to get operational. I have no regrets about buying them, but if I had more space on my desk I would have definitely preferred another pair of MR3 speakers.
