I needed a radio for my office and or garage workshop and I came across this at PBT on special. Looked at positive reviews so I purchased one. Great little sound. Not too much bass but good clear sound. The only thing I think let its' down is the playtime. The 12hr it claims is not true. Well, on my unit it's only about 6-7 hrs and at low vol. BT playtime would be about the same. Other than that JBL is an easy set up, easy to carry and go. Pity it doesn't have a case which costs $42NZD on Amazon.

Not as bassie as my other bose mini speaker but it had good balance with the treble. Blue-tooth worked well and no issue connecting. Easy setup - intuitive - no need for the manual tbh. The price was decent mainly because this model has been around for a while now. The fact it is also IPX7 is impressive. Radio works well. Bluetooth does not work with my samsung phone. My Samsung phone works with the previous model of this radio but not this one. Luckily my old cellphone works with this (as it uses older Bluetooth connection). Changed the advanced Bluetooth internal connection settings, but no luck. Radio works well. My son was so happy when he received it and to be honest the sound was beyond my expectations. It was so clear and loud. It did not sound like an ordinary radio . I needed a radio to keep myself sane during work, and the extra functions were a nice bonus. As with most JBL products, this works like a dream. Great sound quality and easy to use.
