I was surprised by these small speakers, it was great for home use and works well. Also, I am happy with PB Tech's great service as I placed my order last 18/4/20 and it arrives 21/4/2020 (that quick amidst lockdown) fantastic! Cheers. As others have noted, these speakers have a good sound for their price, and they suit my purpose - basic sound for a secondary computer - perfectly.
But it wasn't until I unwrapped them that I learnt that the slots at the bottom serve no purpose whatsoever. They go right through to the back and have nothing to do with the quality of the sound. It would be silly to expect anything like bass reflex from anything this size, but as someone old enough to respect big bass reflex speakers (and who hates anything fake), I realise they hooked me psychologically, so that's a little irritation. Using these for sound from a home/gaming PC when not wanting to use a headset. Have been using for several days now, since installation. The sound quality and volume is surprisingly good for the size and price of the speakers; possibly not sufficient for big sound in a large room, but perfect for a small home office or computer room. The speakers are compact and take up little space on a desk or shelf. The 3.5mm audio cable is only about 1.0m long. The volume knob on the front is handy to use sometimes, instead of software control. There is a 3.5mm output jack on the front as well as a separate 3.5mm input jack.

With one attempt with a headset with separate speaker and mic 3.5mm plugs, the speaker one worked fine when plugged in separately (without the mic one plugged in), and the mic one worked fine when plugged in separately, but the headset speakers got no sound when both headset plug and mic plug were plugged in to the speaker jacks. I haven't tested again, or with another headset, so I don't know whether this is normal behaviour for the product, at time of writing this review.
