I bought this for a trip where I needed a music stand.. I use my iPad for that purpose. This stand served it's purpose perfectly.
Don't be scared by the arm that pokes out to hold the tablet mount.. It's solid and has plenty of friction to hold any tablet of any weight in any position.
The legs are another really good component, as you can lock them in 3 different positions, so the stand works great even in situations with little space.. Like on stage for instance.

I bought this stand for a karaoke party that was being thrown at short notice. I was concerned that there would be lots of screws to find and instructions to follow but in practice it was just a question of pulling it out the box and you're good to go. Thin metal, a bit wobbly, obviously built to a cost and might be a PITA for filming but perfectly good for what I needed it for. I am very happy with this tablet/phone stand which fits my large tablet. Its height adjustment is quick and easy allowing for quick sitting to standing in rehearsals. I use my tablet instead of paper for my sheet music and writing notes and I can get the tablet in just the right place. The clips and height adjustment can be done one handed. Due to the added weight of the tablet it does have a little bounce and it does need the legs to be at their widest spread in order for it not to topple forward.
