I never expected that the actual product has a good finish, elegant look though doesn't matter but it's a plus factor. Magnetic casing as well as when picking-up the screws. I bought this set from PB Tech a while back, and I’ve been very pleased with how usable it is, and with how long it has lasted. Even the Apple-specific pentalobe bits have gone through several MacBook rebuilds and don’t look worn at all. Highly recommend this kit! I used a non-magnetic set for the longest time. While it got the job done, it was inconvenient and couldn’t handle much pressure when pushed down. I knew I was missing out on those small features, and now that I have them with this new set, I can’t go back! Disassembling and reassembling is actually exciting now, no more stressing over tiny screws slipping or struggling to align them in cramped spaces. Plus, being able to press down harder gives me better control and makes it easier to avoid stripping screws. Everything feels so much easier!

I think this would be better as a hinged design, rather than a sliding insert. It's quite scratchy when you slide on/off the metal cover. Bits are ok quality, but I saw metal shavings appear after their first use, so not sure on longevity. Either way very convenient, and at this price you can't really go wrong IMO. What can I say? It screws and it does it well. A thing I like about it is that it has a nob I guess?? that allows you to do high precision screwing. The only thing is that the bits aren't that magnetic so they cant pick up small or heavy screws which is a shame. What can I say? It screws and it does it well.
