ProsKit CP-333 Modular Plug Network Crimping Tool 6P 8P RJ45 RJ11 RJ12 Cat5e Cat6

Needed a tool for my first time crimping ethernet cables, and this did the job pretty well.
It cuts and strips cables very easily.. but maybe a little too easily. I have no previous experience to compare to, but it felt like you had to be extremely cautious when stripping the cable, as even the slightest bit of pressure means you have probably cut though one of the inner wires (and it will always be the last wire you untwist). This happened way too many times, but maybe I just need practice. No issues with the plug crimping part. Made a nice solid connection every time.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it felt like for a right-handed user, it has been constructed backwards. Every time I would naturally grab it with the handle facing up, but then find the blades (and labels) are facing the opposite side from where you would be holding the cable. Just something to get used to I guess.

It would have been nice if it had T568A / T568B wiring diagrams printed on the tool like I've seen on others (I actually printed my own and stuck it on).

I bought this tool as I was wiring up my house during a reno with Cat6 in every room. The wire cutter & wire stripper are perfect for Cat6 (no need to use the rip cords as you won't cut your cables w/ the wire stripper). Work well but wished they colour coded one side as I always have to double check where to insert the cable.

Is a good, quality, crimp tool. I chose this brand (ProsKit) for 2 year warranty. And chose this CP-333 for very compact size (just hold it slightly differently to the common crimper). It lies a little bit about supporting Cat5e, the stripping hole only supports Cat6. However, you can still use the blade to strip any sort of cable.
