ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

I bought this for an ex-lease SFF desktop to run Minecraft and Fortnite for the kids. If installing into a Small Form Factor case you will need to change the standard bracket (attached to the card) to the low profile bracket (included in box) which was easy. It runs fine in a HP Elite 8300 SFF Desktop. Note this card is GDDR5 not the downgraded GDDR4 (this is good). It's completely silent but the trade-off is the large heatsink, that means the card takes up two slots worth of space inside the case, which was fine for the HP Elite 8300. Overall a great buy. This appears to be the only GDDR5 version available since most others have been downgraded to DDR4 memory. Best budget card available and can play Fortnite. Silent, low profile and runs off PCI power means you can upgrade your slimline business PCs with this brilliant little graphics card. Our HP elite 8300 has a fresh of new life now. Choice. I brought this for my HTPC after my displayport to hdmi dongle failed. I brought it specifically because it came with a small bracket to fit my HP SFF pc, and had HDMI output for my tv. The only special thing I had to make it work was plug in a monitor into the DVI port so that Windows 7 would detect my TV on the HDMI port and send a picture. It also sends audio over the HDMI and once detected I was able to disconnect the DVI. All in all a great purchase for watching TV on my media pc.

Fixed up the computer and has made a difference on this 10 year old machine, Video is working on a web page that it wasn't before.
Found out later that the software that i wanted to run doesn't support this card. Please Check software and hardware requirements first, because if I had i would have got a better card with around 6gb of Ram. But this card is working well and the software is doing its conversions in the CPU and taking its time with it, without this card it wouldn't even do that

I brought this to replace a gt710 that was struggling with displaying a constant frame rate for basic fps gameplay, it performed way better than anticipated as we were playing destiny 2 at 720p with a frame rate of 16 - 25 fps, i plugged it in and the performance was way more than i expected, we played the same game in 720p and had a solid 30fps, this card works really well and would suit anyone whom is looking at playing browser based games such as roblox or hd streaming. Just needed a graphics card as cpu didn't have built in graphics.
