Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 2GB DDR3 Graphics Card

I purchased the card for an older HP Compaq 8100 SFF PC to use it with my 4K monitor.
Perfect for Office apps and videos, I'm happy with it.

Purchased one of these 3-4 years ago to replace a fried 9500GT. After talking to a staff member we established that the old PC I was using was limited by the power supply and this GT710 was the only valid option left. It made a great replacement and allowed some old games to be played at 720p HD resolution on low to medium settings. This however required over clocking to achieve which takes some time and patience. It does yield a noticeable frames-per-second boost when running the free MSI over clocking software - Afterburner. Purchased one of these 3-4 years ago to replace a fried 9500GT. I needed a card that would output to triple screens and this did it effortlessly. One thing to bare in mind is it had 2 x Digital connections (HDMI and DVI) and one analogue VGA. I actually needed VGA for a KVM switch so was happy with this, others might prefer a more expensive card that can output 3 x Digital displays. Needed to replace the graphics hard in my home lab / virtualization server, as the old one was screaming in pain. This did the job nicely.

An 2014 year model that is standing the test of time I guess. Nothing special. But has the flexibility of SFF and full height. And I needed 3 displays, which is why I didn't go for the next model up. My old computer, ie. an i5 2nd generation, was using a Sapphire Graphics Card which was good. It's dead all at a sudden after cleaning. That's why I needed a replacement. All other graphics card are a lot advance and much more pricier. This one is price for value and it's very simple, plug and play. Works very well with Windows 11 which would find the driver. I don't actually need the driver from its original website. A great product for most people who don't need to dig in the knowledge base to get this product to work.
