Bought December 2024 for 10 year old Xmas gift. I did my research. On paper, the features seem great for monitoring and communicating with daughter, giving her more freedom and us peace of mind. I was aware of the $8 Spark monthly SIM free and $9 monthly Spacetalk subscription.

I have had so much issue with this watch, the app doesn't work as it should be, and you need to subscribe (keep paying) to use it's own functions. what a waste of time and money.

Exactly what we wanted!
So glad we went with the Adventurer! No issues in regards to service when it comes to calling/texting - even when in very different locations. GPS/map is extremely accurate. Battery life could be slightly longer, but watches are on the charger overnight anyway.
