This adapter is highly praised for its functionality, compact design, and value for money. However, it's advised to connect the HDMI before linking to the monitor, and a few faced challenges with no common ground between both sides of the adapter.
Good price, but beware Raspberry PI4
Works well for most HDMI to DVI requirements, but note there isn't a common ground between the HDMI and DVI sides of the adapter. This means (for me at least) that it won't work with a Raspberry Pi4 - you'll get no signal on the monitor.
I added a ground between the two sides of the adapter, and the issue was resolved.
Waste of Time and Money.
Didn't work. I tried from laptop HDMI to DVI-D Monitor. Also tried on another device same issue' No Display. Note: My Monitors are brand new and work perfectly fine without this adapter.
Disappointing
It didn't work going hdmi to a dvi-d monitor. Which isn't clear from the description.
