The 1080P HDMI port did not work initially but a quick e-mail to Cruxtec solved the problem. After installing the driver as specified, the dual HDMI display ports worked as they should.

When you insert this product into the computer's USB port, a new removable storage drive will appear in Windows Explorer, usually labeled as "USBDISPLAY."
When you double-click this drive, you will find the device's driver, typically named "MSSUSBDisplay_Windows_V3.0.exe."
Please copy this driver to your local disk, then run it and complete the installation step-by-step.

After you have completed the driver installation and properly connected your external monitor, you will find a new monitor in your Windows display settings, allowing you to mirror or extend your display.

To have to download a file to use a specific port on the stock is annoying. Just a standard plug-in for both would have been a more amazing experience. To be fair I also could have explained that that’s what I was looking for but what do I know?

Also, the file download does not work for my laptop from my MacBook and I keep getting an error and nothing can fix it so how am I supposed to know whether it’s up-to-date or compatible with this dock? will not buy again To have to download a file to use a specific port on the stock is annoying. One of the port works brilliantly, however when I try to connect 2 together for a split screen, it doesn't detect the other one

Don't bother with this - it says it can support two screens through the 2x HDMI, but in reality only one of the slots work. I went in and replaced the faulty one, to get a second unit that only supports one HDMI input at a time.
