A slight downside is its longer charging time, however, its impressive performance and reliability far outweigh this minor inconvenience. The Eneloop rechargeable battery is definitely a smart, sustainable choice for power.

Quality Batteries for a Reasonable Price
Have had some hit and miss rechargeable batteries from well known battery manufacturers over the years. I was recommended Eneloop batteries by a sound engineer who exclusively uses them in radio mics as fairly bullet proof... so here I am.
