Dynamix C-U3.1CA-0.2 USB-C 3.1 to USB-A Cable - 20cm

Brought this in hope it might work as an Oculus Link cable to hook my Oculus Quest up to my PC. Worked straight away, plays and charges the Quest. Super happy, want to try get the 5 meter version of this cable but more than happy with 3 meter for such a cheap price. The cable was purchased to mate with a Switchwerk USB Wall Charger SW18AUQC3 QC 3.0 Power Adapter Quick Charge 3.0 5V 3A 9V 2A 12V 1.5A 18W RCM Approved Compatible with QC 2.0 Device for HTC 10 , LG G6, Nokia 8, Sony XZ. The connection required the plug to be pushed hard into the charger socket and moved around to find a spot where it connected. Other cables on hand worked perfectly on the charger and the Dynamix cable worked on other devices but the pins seemed to be more deeply recessed on the USB-A plug than other cables making the contact unreliable on the charger.

Ever since I have used this USB data cable to connect my phone to the android auto carplay, I no longer have disconnections while driving. The 20 cm length is ideal to avoid cables around the gear. I don't have to unplug /replug the phone to start android auto now. It's value for the price. This is the right cable to link your USB 3.1 Quest 2 to PC, it works very well for, something like 2400mbps data throughput.

Keep in mind this is a 3M cable, and so suffers the same side effects as other long cables as far as power delivery goes. This cable likely wont work if the device you are using draws power through a usb port on your computer, however, it does work great for charging from the wall, and even works with my VR headset if i use an externally powered USB3 Hub. Great purchase. The short USB cable works well in car with my phone for navigation, and I no longer get tied up in the metre long cord I had wrapping round the gear shift. Very prompt delivery. Like everyone else I got this for my Quest 2. Works great.

Bought it for the Quest 2 link cable, seems to work fairly well. Isn't perfect by any means, but latency is low enough and connection only drops out in rare cases (without being unplugged). This is after about a week of use, where it's happened about once every 2 or 3 hours on average
Main thing stopping it from being 4 or more stars is that my cable is a pretty loose fit in most of my devices, so it rocks and slips free quite easily, and has done so a few times when I wasn't used to it.
