Eufy Security Motion Sensor - Add On

This is a neat little motion sensor you can put anywhere your WIFI reaches. It is battery powered so it doesn't need any wired power. It needs a Eufy Hub to talk to (via WIfi).
Set up is very simple. Go into the app on your phone and follow some obvious instructions. Voice prompts from the Eufy Hub at bit, but I found them unecessary.
After that you get alerts on your phone if the sensor is triggered. We put ours indoors and they com on to a schedule so were not getting alarms while we're just hanging out at home. Bought this for our garage since we are already using Eufy for the whole house. Works well and detects motion accurately. It does not alert you if your pet is within proximity which is ideal! Works well with adjustable sensitivity. Battery has lasted three months so far without needing replacement. Small enough to be inconspicuous, blends in well and attaches to wall easily. I'm new to Eufy but really like that I can buy individual components such as this one, to add to the Eufy camera security system.

I investigated several systems but Eufy came highly recommended, is easy to install, good value for money, and I can tailor it to my home. If I decide I need more, it's not difficult or expensive to get more sensors. So far we are very happy with our purchase and it works well with all the other Eufy things we have installed.

motion sensor light is a little bright when dark and trying to sleep if you accidentally set it off by moving in your sleep.
