The table top is spliced which means it's 2 bits held together with 3 wood splints and metal brackets. If you mount a monitor bracket central to the table, it bows in 20 minutes. Desk is sturdy, I can lean on it lightly and it's got 2 28" monitors. The large size is great. Instructions are not the best, Be very careful when tightening the screws, they strip very easily, especially the screws for connecting the two rods and the ones for joining the table together. The top doesn't feel very strong at the front where the two pieces connect but other than those things everything else looks good and works well. I ordered the desk online and it arrived two days later.
Assembly was relating straight forward and with the assistance of my 22 year old son we had it built in no time.
The instructions are in small print and that is where my son was very handy. He also does Lego F1 car building from time to time so had no problems with the pictorial instructions.
We plugged it in and up and down the desk goes.
I have a dual monitor bracket which bolted on easily and gives more desk space.

After countless Hours Researching, measuring, and planning out. Its Perfect!

Instructions were Pretty straight forward, although it did recommend 2 people to build, It's still completable with just one ( though will be slightly more challenging +10 - 20mins longer ).

The Desk manages to hold Both of my monitors & Pc ( expecting to upgrade monitors to an UW, and have a smaller pc case - Just for more real estate on the desk ).
Even when fully setup I still have All the room needed for my Keyboard & mouse, Phone and drink.

The hooks on the side are great for putting your headset or Game controller on ( to keep off desk ). I did remove One of the hooks on the side closet to the wall as it wouldn't be super accessible.

I would absolutely recommend to those who have never owned a standing desk before ( or have one at work ). To ensure your cables are at least 3 meters long, just so there is 'some' slack when moving the desk up. Otherwise you may unplug some cables when moving ( common sense ).

Would I recommend this to Gamers? Yes, Yes I would. Thought it would be odd to Play standing up, but actually more comfortable switching between standing and sitting when gaming +100 focus.

Locktek is the manufacturer behind Flexispot desks, and they sell this exact same model under the name “Essential Standing Desk (E2)”. The only real difference is that this version comes with a split tabletop, likely to reduce shipping costs. It’s also significantly cheaper here in New Zealand, which is a big plus.

My only minor complaint is that a few of the screw holes on the tabletop were slightly misaligned, which made assembly a bit fiddly. That said, I was still able to put it together on my own without too much trouble.

The desk was a bit of a challenge to put together but instructions and video on line were really helpful. Took two of us just under 2 hours.
The desk is sturdy and moves plenty fast enough when changing the height or lowering. It looks sleek and is perfect for my office/WFH space. Great value for money. Highly recommend.
