I needed a robust external hard drive. After some research chose Lacie Rugged USB-C 2TB external HDD. PB TECH had the brand and model, but had a 2tb version for the same price that most retailers were selling their 1tb version for, on a promotional sale. Can't say anything bad as I've only had the product for a month or so. But it is reassuring having a backup storage system on hand with plenty of storage space, and if i was to drop it? It's well protected from being damaged.

I have been using it for about a couple weeks now without any problems. This is my first real external storage device, in addition to SD cards and limited space USB drives, and I'm very pleased with it. All my professional work, imported footage, edited footage, and final projects are stored in it. It runs very smoothly, backs up my computer quickly, and has ample space for all of my professional work. According to reviews, back ups were lost, but I haven't experienced any crashes or data loss.
