Lexar NQ790 2TB M.2 NVMe Internal SSD

Really happy with this drive — I’ve already been using the NM790 (the higher-end version) for over 2 years and it’s done 50TB with no issues.
This one is also DRAM-less, and relies on HMB 3.0 instead. However it also uses QLC NAND instead of TLC, which is a bit unfortunate since the NM790 uses TLC.
That said, I personally haven’t noticed any difference in day-to-day use, but users online state that the drive gets slow under-load. Really happy with this drive — I’ve already been using the NM790 (the higher-end version) for over 2 years and it’s done 50TB with no issues.

If you are constantly writing large files, such as 4k video, maybe go for more expensive TLC memory. Cheapest 4tb m.2 available with decent specs.

This drive is a "budget" (QLC) drive, but I cant tell the difference, though Im not a power user. At the time I bought it, it was the cheapest 4TB drive. Using it to store my game libraries and UE5 assets and not as a boot drive or for anything critical due to it being QLC, and its perfect for this usage. It has a large cache (200TB i believe) so as long as you dont exceed that, it can perform similar to more expensive drives. Bought myself a mini PC recently that came with 1TB of M.2 NVMe installed but had room for another one. Bought this beast to add to it and it's been absolutely fantastic. I have purchased 2 4TB SSDs to copy folders from work server.
The other SSD was 6000MB/s Read and 5000MB/s write. And while that is fast it has taken several days to copy data.
This Lexar got the job done in 2 days. Thats less than half the time of the other brand. Thanks to the 7000MB/s read and 6000MB/s write.
Both are used in a pci-e expansion card in an otherwise 10-year-old motherboard
