Down sides, no case for travel and no controls on the headphones to adjust volume etc.

I bought a pair of these in 2023, it was a bit of a splurge for me but I thought it was from a reputable brand. The sound quality is good sure, BUT the hinge has broken on one of the sides and they're unfixable, and I'm not the only one who has had this problem with this model! Nothing against pbtech, this isnt their product, just a warning that these headphones are not durable enough to warrant this price tag. Bought this for travel. Good value, good product, too bad can’t folded like other Sony headphones, might be easier for travelling, and didn’t come with case. Noise cancelling is okay, sound not bad, nice colour. since I’m not using it daily, good enough to use it occasionally. Bought this for travel. Ive had this product for a few months now, and the listening experience is solid, with a good control over settings in the app. The plastic feels very cheap, however, and easily snapped at the earcup hinge, making it difficult to recommend. Blocks out a decent amount of plane engine noise- used on 14 hour emirates flights, would wear again on flights to help sleep. Only i wish they could fold up for storage- awkward to carry in bag but not too bad. I would say these are better at blocking out a constant noise such as an engine or little things like a door opening, but not so much people talking. Purchased second pair as birthday present for a uni student child, I have a set of these too. Great headphones, good to wear for long periods. The noise cancelling works well on long haul flights, good sound quality. Good service at PB Tech in Palmerston North too.
