Creality Soleyin Ultra PLA Filament - Light Green

I've been trying out several brands and types of PLA filament for my models (okay, a 1-meter model of the Enterprise A) and found the Soleyin Ultra to produce the sharpest and most detailed prints than the rest (including the Creality Hyper). It's a great solid PLA that doesn't let light bleed through the lines or print in general (the Ender PLA+ and Hyper is a little see through) when you install lighting into the model. This means you don't have to increase the walls and save on filament and time. Works really good on the 0.2 and 0.4 nozzles. Haven't tried it on the 0.6 or 0.8 nozzles yet but anticipate the same results. Creality Soleyin Ultra PLA - Honestly horrible to use, doesn't flow correctly through the nozzle, is super brittle and snapped when pushing through bowden tube. Has stringing issues on every temperature from 190 - 240 and even at 240 it doesn't flow correctly.
This is advertised to have a smooth bubble free service finish and it does not, print walls come out bumpy, uneven and with visible layer lines.

I'm a fan of most of the Creality Filaments but i will be steering clear of this one in the future. This filament is really good. The blue looks good, and my prints come out smooth. It didn’t mess up or jam at all, and it sticks to the bed easily. This prints as easy as PLA but sands better for painting prep and has more translucency if that is what you’re after. This prints as easy as PLA but sands better for painting prep and has more translucency if that is what you’re after.

Not as easy to print with as PLA. I had to avoid the AMS and feed the filament directly into the extruder without using any tubes. I also had to unspool some filament to minimise any friction. This filament wants to be pulled into the extruder as easily as possible or the flow rate could get effected. Not as easy to print with as PLA. A little glossier than I expected, however it flows well from my Bambu PS1 and I have made a number of items with it. I'll keep using it in the future.
