Grandstream GUV3100 FullHD 1080p/30fps USB Webcam

I wish more products were like this. No extra software required - you just plug it in and it works. The pros of this is it doesn't require software updates and won't go out of date when you upgrade your OS or computer hardware. My macbook camera stopped working and it was going to cost me over $400 to get it fixed. and so this was the perfect alternative. I don't do a lot of zoom/facetime calls, but even if I did now, this would be better than ok. I found the quality of this camera to be better than the built-in macbook camera. I'm not a camera geek by any means, but if you want something that works, doesn't cost a lot and gives a pretty decent image - get this one. In regards to the mic - I believe it works well (never had an issue during any of my calls since getting it) and works well as long as you're sitting near the camera. I haven't tried walking away for sound quality. I love how sleek it is and it's not as large as others in the market. I did have to purchase an adapter to go from regular USB to USB C - I got the tiniest one I could find and just attached it with electrical tape so it looks like it's part of the cord--plus I don't have to worry about losing it. (I know it's a bit ghetto but works!) I'd buy this again!

I was hoping for better based on the reviews but the camera isn’t as good as the integrated webcam on my laptop. It’s too dark without additional lighting (I use at home with daylight only). Great affordable webcam with a built-in microphone. My laptop stopped working so I urgently needed a webcam with a mic for my PC since I have Zoom classes and it works perfectly. Probably wouldn't be a good option for things like streaming since the camera quality isn't the best but it's all you need for something like Zoom. Great affordable webcam with a built-in microphone.
