When buying a monitor arm, filter your selection process by WEIGHT of the monitor NOT THE SIZE. The size of the Vesa mount is also important, (75mm or 100mm typically).

It works as advertised, in that it is a solid arm that easily handles the weight of such a big monitor. Its movement is smooth. What it does not handle is the curve moving the monitor weight so far forward of the last pivot point. The solution is to swap the VESA mount part with the one that comes with the Odyssey's stand. Takes 20 minutes to do, and makes this setup absolutely awesome. Now just need to mount the sound bar.... Ok, so it does work with samsung CHG90 49" monitor, BUT the tilt you have to screw it so damn tight to prevent it from tilting downwards. Even then the monitor will tilt over time. My solution was to remove VESA mount off the arm from the swivel part and replace it with the one came from the monitor's original stand (quite easy as it is literally a large screw on both mount)
adding a washer to fill the gap and the monitor will no longer tilt downwards randomly. This arm can hold a Samsung Odyssey G9 and can articulate the screen when it's mounted. However, it requires you to do the vertical lock screws up very tightly. I would cover the front of the screen with something soft to avoid damaging it while mounting; ideally it's a two person job. Double check the weight of your monitor online before ordering this. My 34inch msi ultra wide is a kilo and a bit light so I am gonna have to add weight to the monitor some how. I purchased this mount thinking it would be a premium product, and would be easy to adjust between sitting, standing etc. But the screen often rotates down towards facing the ground, or rotaes towards portrate mode (just by a few degrees) unless I tigten screws to the point of thinking I will break something. My screen is at the lower end of the weight bracket, so that's not the issue.

Worst part is that to tighten the screw that stops it freely rotating towards portrate mode, I need to remove the screen. And there is no quick release, so it's 4 screws that need to come out first.

I bought this for my 2nd 32 inch screen for my desktop and its awesome. hold the weights and also give me lots of space under the monitor and also rotate all different angles!! def Thumbs up!! for this product! Was happy to find this option for my large monitor in a sale. Works brilliantly. the cable tidy at the bottom isn't fab. But you can't fault the cost.
