Look for the Original Ogima if you can.

Having had the chance to test this device out and compare it to the original Ogima's spec sheet, here's what I found:

- Durability is similar: drop this device and it'll easily survive
- Purportedly 'newer' model so it's more up to date.
- This no longer has -
1) Hotspot functionality
2) A web browser
3) Wi-Fi connectivity
I kinda get where Mobiwire was going with this: construction jobs don't need too much other than the ability to be reached in an emergency, supposedly. But ofc with apps today, and Whatsapp being default in many places other than NZ, it's getting more necessary to have SOMETHING to connect to places.

Good basic feature phone that is much easier to use than the original Ogima

I bought two of these for my sister to replace her CAT B40 rugged feature phone which broke a few months ago. Because it uses a simple classic-type feature phone user interface, it's much easier to use than the original Ogima, but doesn't have internet access or wifi. You can also listen to the radio without using headphone cables as an antenna. A major omission is that it can't play video or audio files, even those recorded by the phone itself. Since the Ogima 2 is significantly cheaper than other phones in its class, Mobiwire probably saved money by not installing the software to enable audio and video playback. Shipping Security & Insurance

Returns & Warranty

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed and unopened, with packaging in original condition, accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange. A 20% restocking fee may be applied where goods are not returned in sealed, original packaging condition.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase. Items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.

Hassle free warranty service

If your product develops a fault within the manufacturer warranty period, you can either contact the manufacturer directly (some manufacturers provide a high level of warranty service - including free pickup or in some cases onsite repair), or return to one of our services centres / stores. Where the product has been directly imported by PB Tech, you need to contact us directly or present the product at any one of our service centres / stores together with your proof of purchase.

If your product develops a fault outside of the manufacturer warranty or PB Tech warranty period, we offer a full repair service and are an authorised repair agent for leading brands such as Samsung, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo and more.
