Belkin BOOSTCHARGE Wireless Charging Stand 10W, Black

I ordered this to use at work and when plugged in it will charge my Samsung for 5 seconds, then stopped. This is with no case. I then tried someone else's Samsung phone, and it also did not work. I don't know whether it's because the one I bought is the white one or not but the white LED on the top of the unit (but behind the phone) while charging is inordinately bright - it's a device commonly used only overnight!. I had to put two or three layers of white tape over it to dim it sufficiently for it not to be a light shining on the wall right next to me. I'm trying to sleep, without a sleep mask lol. Works fine when it works, although as other reviewers note you would need a proper adapter to take advantage of actual 10W charging.
However now it's stopped working, coincidentally just after the 24-month warranty period has expired.

Used for a few weeks now, only with phone sitting vertically. Super happy with it!
I use it on my work desk, keeping my battery topped up throughout the day and don't even need to charge it overnight.
Trickle charges at perfectly reasonable speed with stock 1A Apple wall adapter. Phone barely heats up this way too. You could use a 20W wall adapter for faster charging with more heat if you want.
With my Spigen Liquid Air Armor case, the charger has recognised the phone and started charging every single time, without fail, no adjustments needed.

USB cable came a little loose from the back of the unit once, which was the only time it didn't work (just clicked it back in and it was fine).

Considering the cost of this product, I was expecting it to be able to charge with 10w (or at least 5W).

This is an awesome charger, and the portrait/landscape stand is awesome.

The only bad thing is it does not come with a wall connection and in order to get the 10w charging you have to purchase a special wall charger for it. 8/10 why are you like this belkin This is an awesome charger, and the portrait/landscape stand is awesome.

Iphone 12 pro max is chargeable by using this product. But I think it cannot be perfectly aligned because the iphone is too large.
