This mouse is excellent if you rest your forearm or elbow on the desk, but less so if your anchor point to the desk is your wrist -- since it's a vertical mouse, the weight of your arm will be resting on one wrist bone instead of the usual two, so make sure your forearm is on the desk. Was great and relieved pressure in my hand. But buttons are failing after 2 years. Looks to be a common issue, and recommended fix didn't work.

Mouse fits and works well with good customisation, but it rattles when its used. There are no obvious screw holes so no way to fix it. Its a big upgrade on previous mice but feels a bit cheap and nasty. The comfort level is well above average, only drawback is if you aren't seated right it is hard to use. I recently had problems with my wrists and was advised to get a vertical mouse. I bought this Logitech MX and it's really great. It took me no time at all to get used to it and it works perfectly.

I've been a heavy user of the the Evoluent Vertical Mouse for years (probably 15) and my current one finally died. So I decided to give the Logitech one a try. It's very comfortable and remains in the neutral forearm position (which I need to prevent pain from Carpal Tunnel), and it is easy to use, and smooth.
