The stand is light and pretty well made - someone has clearly spent at least some time thinking about how someone might actually use it.
The multiple height adjustment points are useful, the grippers do their job, and the bag makes it easy to tuck in the same pocket as the laptop if need be.

I purchased this together with a Loctek Eco Ergonomic Deskalator (raise-lower) Workstation. I run a 27" monitor with my laptop, and wanted a bracket to hold my 14" laptop - to allow me to run 2 screens side by side. The angle of the mount allows the laptop display to align higher than it would if on the desk - which makes it more seamless when ghosting the cursor across 2 extended displays.
The mount is really compact and light when stowed, so great for travellers. I'll mostly leave it in place permanently, and it does the job great. it holds my laptop up fine but it is very flimsy. It doesn't slot in to the holes well and a tiny bump will collapse it. it does the job but wish I'd bought a better quality one it holds my laptop up fine but it is very flimsy. Ticks all the boxes for a great price. Great that it's compact and so easy for travelling with. Easy to assemble and packs away in a neat pouch. Would recommend. This is one of those cheap simple products that does the job that it was designed to do, and well too. I have to say I'm impressed with the "cost vs performance" factor of this stand.. I use my laptop with a dock most of the time. I'm using this stand at its lowest height setting gets the machine off the desk and gets better cooling airflow that keeps the fans a bit quieter. heading into a hotdesk environment soon and having the collapsible design with a pouch will be quite handy too.
