My daughter moved into a unit on a large lifestyle property which had no internet . Staff at PB Tech gave me good advice which I followed. The main house, which was 80 m away through trees, had fibre connection but the distance was too far for a WIFI modem. I purchased a pair of Ubiquity LocoM2, and set them up with names and passwords at my home before visiting my daughter. I installed 1 in the main house roof and the other high up in a garage wall, used rough line of sight to align them and instantly we were online. Brilliant performer. Purchased this to extend wifi range so used as an access point. now have suitable wifi coverage in garden where needed. had to watch a you tube video to assist with set up. shame it didnt come with a wall mount bracket though. had to fashion a mount bracket. I am surprised how good a pair of these are, very cool. A bit tricky to get setup, you really need to watch this set up video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrEEOV5oA8Y as the instructions included are not good enough, the guy on youtube makes it easy though.

If you follow that guys instructions it works like a dream. I have the pair about 400-500m apart and they are able to connect with a strong signal, even through my steel roof.

Awesome - had an issue with coverage to outside studio, connected this system (which was simple) and have had trouble free connection to internet, with good speed connection. Working really well and pretty easy to set up.
Also, it doesn't really say, or maybe I just missed it, but it comes with a PoE adapter to power it. So you need 2 of these, but you don't need to buy anything else apart from some ethernet cables Working really well and pretty easy to set up.

I use these for camera installs as stations in a point to multipoint config, Not super fast but easy to setup and reliable. The UISP discovery tool on my mobile works well. 24v PoE is not overly brilliant though. I was originally going to buy 2 as a point to point link, but then realised one it can be used a basic directional access point with extended range so I tried that and it worked out well for what I wanted.
Setup is not obvious, there are a lot of options and finding the user manual and understanding it is not simple.
