I recommend just using this for the key and download Windows itself from Microsoft and create a USB installer, this will save you from having to apply heaps of updates to the decidedly older release that comes on the DVD. OEM only seems to mean that you get no technical support directly from help desk, but unless you desperately need bitlocker or a virtual machine then just get home, the price for Windows I also think is too much and should be half the price for the features it provides. This Part is one of many New Parts for my first ever complete ground up build computer.
All parts where selected for specific purpose for this build which will be my Media Centre PC
for my Home Theatre System once I get my gear set up.
It's all new and running Windows 11 Professional as that's what I am generally use to, "Professional"
that is. There is only one item I am still waiting on to arrive to complete this build which is a 3.5''
front mounted Memory Card Reader Writer unit. Though I am considering an extra 120 Fan for the
case rear to add extra protection against over-heating, though unit is working great.

I was originally going to get Windows 10 Professional, but a friend suggested I get W11 as it has
better functionality and performance over W10, So I did. Still learning my way around W11 as I only
use to Windows XP & 7. But I enjoy this type of learning. Awesome.

The UI elements looks better and some grouping have improved visual.
But things like the right click menu mean lost productivity. As of buying no major issues yet.

Microsoft Windows 11 takes a little getting used to I must admit although after some tweaking it does the job for what most home users need and since I purchased the Professional , the start bar doesn't actually work like windows 10, you need to sort out the order of item categories carefully as all you have is "send to top" command to reorganize Start Bar to your liking. it's probably trying to be a tablet mode but not quite getting there.

That said if you choose your categories' in lots of six in each row you can drag and drop them same as you would on a table. after you've sent each individual one to the top first. for the workings of windows 11 it's self it's operatable enough to satisfy most need we require. That said after 2 week plus of personalizing my computer I'm almost there. just a file structure to make for my own filing system and we can multitask with the best of them, and windows does the workload efficiently.

What can one say about a new operating system.....
It's just that a new OS but so far so good, does as expected and no blue screen of death :)
I do enjoy using the OS but like any that is new it will more likely get better as it goes.

If you need Windows 11 then just bite the bullet..
